Up for bid are seeds of the October Glory Red Maple. These are named Red Maples because their small flowers that often go unnoticed are red, although they do often get red fall foliage. It is a beautiful US native tree that gets great green foliage, until fall when these become some of the most beautiful trees around with fall colors in shades of orange, red, and even purple. This particular variety is often chosen because it gets superior fall color. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 3, possibly colder, and they grow best in full sun to part shade.
