Up for bid are seeds of Dyckia Cherry Coke. It is a beautiful perennial bromeliad that gets unique yellow to orange flowers and great burgundy foliage. Most bromeliads are not tolerant of much cold, but these can tolerate sub freezing temperatures and return in spring from the roots even if the leaves are burned off by too low of temperatures. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 7b, and possibly colder, as some sources report zone 7a, and they grow best in full sun to part shade. These will also grow in normal garden soil. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
