Up for bid are seeds of the Coyote Melon. It is a beautiful perennial vine that gets nice yellow-orange flowers and great broad palmate green foliage, then the round fruits,which while technically edible, are reportedly not very palatable, although the seeds can be roasted and eaten, and the large tuberous roots have been used for various purposes. They do make excellent ornamental plants, as well as food for animals and wildlife. These beautiful plants grow best in full sun to part shade,and they are hardy to zone 5, possibly colder. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
