Up for bid are seeds of the Indio Mandarinquat. This is a beautiful small tree is a cross between a Mandarin Orange and a Kumquat, that gets fragrant white flowers, and oblong deep orange fruit, that can be used when immature as a lime substitute, and when fully ripe it has a great rich sweet/slightlytart orange flavor, and the entire fruit can be eaten, skin and all, just like Kumquats. It is a rounded upright grower, and this is evergreen. They are hardy to at least USDA zone 8, and possibly colder. These plants would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
