Up for bid are seeds of Cornus sericea. It is a beautiful shrub to 5 to 10 feet (although can easily be kept smaller) that gets green leaves, and clusters of small white flowers, but the real appeal is the bright red stems - the coloring is especially bright during the fall, winter, and early spring. The stems are often used in arrangements, to make wreaths, as well as other uses. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 2. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
