Road Kill Cactus (Consolea rubescens) is a large cactus species that will reach 5 ft. tall, and keep growing if conditions are favorable. Only water this cactus when the soil is dry. Strong wind and moist soil will cause this cactus to lay down or droop over so place in a sheltered area for best growth. To make this cactus bud, or branch, lay it on its side and new buds will begin forming giving you new plants. As far as I know this cactus does not flower. Established Road Kill Cacti can handle full sun.
