Xanthosoma lindenii has been renamed to Phyllotaenium lindenii. This Caladium leaves usually have unequal basal lobes.
The cultivar ‘Magnificum’ has leaves with white veins and white marginal lines.
Xanthosoma genus (yautia or tannia) is native to the New World tropics. There are about 45 perennial herbs in this genus.
The leaves frequently have pointed bases with either one or two points. Sometimes the leaves have lobed bases.
